Care Instructions

1. Wash with shampoo as needed.

(Do NOT condition- can cause buildup). 

2. Wash extensions in-between each use.

How many packs do I need for a full set?

9-12 packs. If you have really thick hair you may need all 12 packs. Personally, I like to wear around 45-50 dreadlocks. That is 9-10 packs.

How long can I keep them installed?

4-8 weeks at a time. I keep mine in usually for the full 8 weeks. But I do like to refresh the loose ones as needed. Or rebraid the top and face framing ones every 3 weeks at least.

Will they damage my hair?

They should not, if installed correctly they are a protective hairstyle. They should promote healthy hair. If you are getting pain, or tension bumps you are making your sections too small or tight. In some cases, there are times that someone can be allergic to certain materials. If you notice a reaction, then you need to remove them immediately. If you are unsure if you can wear them, I would recommend you start small. Perhaps order one pack only and try it out first. If you have a sensitive scalp I would recommend starting off with less and then allowing your head and neck to get used to it before adding the full 12 packs. Remember, you're instantly getting a lot of hair. No matter what, that adds weight that your body may not be used to.

How do I install them?

Easily! If you can do a 3-strand braid, then you can install these in your hair! You just braid two strands of your hair around the dreadlock. This makes the dreadlock the 3rd strand in the braid. Then tie it off with an elastic and you're done!
